Description

Your 3-hour tour begins at the Colosseum, or the Flavian amphitheater. This is undoubtedly Rome’s best-known monument, which was used in ancient times for gladiatorial shows. Learn about the history of the monument from your guide, who will also tell you about the construction system, the original decorations, the gladiator fights and other types of shows that were held here.

You’ll go on to the Palatine Hill, where you’ll find the earliest ruins of ancient Rome. Your guide will tell you about the legend of Romulus and Remus and the founding of Rome. See the ruins of impressive imperial residences and take in the spectacular view of the Circus Maximus.

The final step of your tour is inside the Forum, a big, ancient square, where you’ll see the ruins of the Senate, magnificent temples, triumphal arches, the House of Vestal Virgins and the early basilicas.

The Ancient Rome tour ends in the beautiful Capitol Square where the famous bronze statue of Marcus Aurelius is located.

Not included: admission tickets are not included. You will pay tickets fee on the day of the tour at the meeting point. Adults ticket is €14. For people under 18 (18 years included) ticket is €2. For European union people between 18 and 25 years old ticket is €9,50. People who already have the Roma Pass don’t pay ticket. If you will be more than 6 people, we do suggest to hire earphones at a cost of €3 per person. Your guide will rent headsets for you.[:it]
